RESTORING ENERGY DOMINANCE (RED) COALITION
The Restoring Energy Dominance (RED) Coalition is a nonprofit organization that supports President Donald J. Trump’s all-of-the-above, America First energy agenda. We are a group of concerned citizens and policy experts who understand that American energy production — of all kinds — is essential for unleashing domestic energy dominance.
President Trump will restore energy dominance, and at RED Coalition, we are here to help get it done.
The RED Coalition will work tirelessly to support President Trump’s all-of-the-above America First energy plan that will:
Lower Americans’ energy bills and increase wages
Grow our economy
Put America back to work with good-paying energy jobs
Keep us safe and protect our national security
Our Team
Dan Brouillette, Senior Advisor
The Honorable Dan R. Brouillette is an accomplished leader in energy, finance, business strategy, and government policy, with a remarkable career spanning both the private and public sectors.
As President of Sempra Infrastructure (SI), a subsidiary of Sempra, Brouillette played a pivotal role in transforming the company from a regional LNG operator into a multinational energy powerhouse with operations in North America and Asia. SI achieved significant milestones during his tenure, including a $13 billion final investment decision for its Port Arthur LNG project. Upon completion, it will rank among the largest LNG export facilities in the United States, serving customers throughout Europe. His strategic oversight of large-scale capital projects and adept navigation of complex financial and geopolitical challenges were instrumental in positioning Sempra as a major force in global energy markets.
Brouillette served as the 15th United States Secretary of Energy, where he spearheaded national energy policy and championed groundbreaking advancements in nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and energy storage. He is the only person ever to be nominated and confirmed to serve as both Deputy Secretary and Secretary of Energy. During this time, the Department of Energy developed the two fastest supercomputers in the world. He has been widely recognized for his role in helping stabilize global oil markets during the COVID-19 pandemic and for facilitating the first-ever ministerial-level energy meetings between Israel and key Middle Eastern nations. For his contributions, Brouillette received Distinguished Public Service Medals from both the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of State, the highest individual honors awarded by each department.
Prior to joining the department, Brouillette served in senior executive roles at USAA and Ford Motor Company.
Brouillette holds an MBA from Tulane University and a Master of Arts in National Security and Intelligence from The Citadel. He served as a tank commander in the U.S. Army’s 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and as a guest lecturer at the U.S. Army War College. Currently, he is a visiting scholar and Executive-in-Residence at Tulane University and a distinguished advisor to the KBH Energy Institute at the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business.
David Bernhardt, Senior Advisor
In 2023, President Donald J. Trump, explained, “David Bernhardt was a tough and capable cabinet leader as my Secretary of the Interior. He was a ‘bulldog’ when advancing many of my great achievements at Interior and putting America on the road to energy dominance and deregulation. He pushed very hard to get big results at a historic pace.”
David Bernhardt is the only person to ever be confirmed by the U. S. Senate to serve as secretary, deputy secretary and solicitor of the U.S. Department of the Interior since it was established in 1849. His career includes roles as an attorney, a public servant and author.
